(New York, NY)  --  The Houston Texans selected South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney first overall in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night from New York City.  The Rams used the first of two picks on Auburn offensive lineman Greg Robinson.  St. Louis also took Pittsburgh defensive tackle Aaron Donald at 13.  UCF quarterback Blake Bortles was the first QB off the board at number three to the Jaguars.  The Browns made the first of three first-round trades at four, opting to trade back to number nine with the Bills.

Buffalo drafted wideout Sammy Watkins from Clemson.  Cleveland then moved up one spot to number eight to take Oklahoma State cornerback Justin Gilbert.  Cleveland later traded their 26th overall choice to get to number-22 and take the second quarterback, Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M.  The last pick of the first round, held by the Super Bowl champion Seahawks, was shipped to the Vikings, who jumped up from number 40 to draft Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater.  Rounds Two and Three continue Friday night with the final four rounds on Saturday.
