Dangerous "Blue Whale" Game Hurting Teenagers

School systems around the world are warning parents of a twisted game being played by teenagers.

According to several reports, students are being tagged in posts that challenge them to hurt themselves, watch horror movies and other bizarre tasks for 50 days.  They are manipulated to commit suicide on the final day.

They are being targeted on Snapchat primarily and then told to download the "Blue Whale" app.  Once downloaded, the app hacks into the personal information on the student's phone and threatens them and their families until they kill themselves.

The Sun, a U.K. newspaper, reported at least 130 deaths have been linked to the game in Russia, where it allegedly started.

An Alabama county public school system posted on Facebook yesterday, warning parents about the game.
