I once heard it said, "sleep is the new sex".... the statement delivered in humor akin to the too oft used "40 is the new 30" series of inspirational lamentations. The quote hits near the mark. Sleep can be good, very good. Its good if you get some and haven't had enough, and its even better if you're getting it on a regular basis.
I wake up at 230am to host The Morning Report on WWNC. I go to bed early accordingly - very early - but 230am is still 230am. I am willing to take the sleep thing a step further.... going so far as to declare "sleep is the new heroin"
