Ive been in Asheville 6 months and a handful of days. I haven't really scratched the surface of things to explore. There is so much to see, and even more to do. Now that the leaves are on the trees and the warm breezes blow, most of my exploration will be outdoors... hiking the mountains, looking at property and sipping something sweet at a sidewalk café. In the fall I'll tap into the museums and take in some of the many varied performances this city has to offer. I love my new home, but still, one must from time to time consider the open road, if even for a day, as a means to "blow out the carbon". Living here puts me within "road reach" of so much new territory, and some of which is familiar.
