Have you tried opening one of those "plastic pak" packages recently ? Hard clear plastic that might contain a phone charger cord for example, or a smoke detector. You know the kind I mean. Its darn near impossible without a sharp intstrument. Problem is, some of the packages are impervious even to your average pair of sharp scissors. Its ridiculous. Im all for having my purchase adequately protected on a store shelf, but never anticpated that it would need to be dropped from an airplane. What's all the more frustrating is that usually, whatever your purchase may be, you're eager to open it.. either out of necessity or otherwise. Then, you cant. Not easily, not quickly. The scissors wont do it, so you reach for a knife. Youre lucky you don’t slice off your finger and end up with stitches. I thought about using my "Sawzall" power tool to open a package the other day. Im completely serious. Speaking of the ever and always useful Sawzall…. did you know you can play the violin with one ? Second question: Do you think this guy has all his marbles ?
