I am so confused - which major political party is the one that treats women as second-class citizens and insults their intelligence?

In this latest ad from our President, Lena Dunham gives the phrase "double meaning" quite the workout:

“Your first time shouldn’t be with just anybody.  You want to do it with a great guy. It should be with a guy who’s beautiful, someone who really cares about and understand women, whether you get health insurance and specifically whether you get birth control. The consequences are huge."

So, like a Sugar Daddy or something? 

This is not the first foray Team Obama has made into this arena, either.

It's just the latest installment in a bizarre women-only-think-about-sex narrative that is pretty condescending.

But here's the kicker - this latest "Lose Your Virginity to POTUS" ad bears a striking resemblance to the ad used by Vladmir Putin. 

No joke.

So, not only is there a "Women = Sex Addicts" theme going on here, but it's also the latest example of the Obama campaign using some one else's idea for a stupid campaign meme.  ("Romnesia" attack line, which was actually coined by a blogger back in April 2011.)

Times certainly have changed.  I remember when it was us men who were stereotyped as only thinking about sex. 

I guess we've truly reached gender equality!
