The National Rifle Association has released a new TV ad attacking President Obama for hypocrisy, because the Commander-in-Chief dismisses the NRA proposal of putting a police officer in all schools that don't already have one.
The President sends his daughters to a school with armed guards.

Attacks on family members (particularly children) of office-holders have long been "off-limits" in the nasty world of politics.
The critics mentioned in the Politico article seem ignorant of the reports that the President plans to surround himself with children when unveils his own gun control proposals later today.
