Online Stream Advisory
****
We are upgrading our online stream, during this time you may experience times of silence.
****
We are working hard to improve this system but it is still considered to be in the Beta stage. We are working to make it perfect, but we know that there are still some flaws so please be patient.

Thank you for choosing to listen online! Here are some things you should know:
During the broadcast, you may notice periods of intermittent interruptions, or silence, which is normal.

These periods of silence are covering some local on-air commercials, which we are replacing with special online content. Please be assured that you have not lost the stream, as the broadcast should resume after the some local commercials are over.

Common Problems:
If the player does not open when you click to listen, it usually means one of two things: (1) Your popup blocker needs to be adjusted to allow a window to open on this page or (2) Javascript is disabled in your browser settings.

Some companies block streaming broadcasts. If the streaming player opens but you cannot connect at work, check with your network administrator.

If you always get "Error. Please try to re-connect" and you are not blocked by your company, it usually indicates problem with your setup. First, try installing the latest version of Windows Media Player. It is a free download by clicking the Media Player logo above.

Buffering, dropouts, lost connections: Many things can cause you to lose the stream. A slow computer, not enough memory or even running several programs at once can make your PC lose the connection. If you tend to hear a lot of hard drive activity when using your PC, that's usually a sign that you need more memory.

Windows Media Player 6.4 or higher is required. If you have Windows, you probably already have it. If you would like the newer version or need to reinstall, click the Media Player button above to download a free copy. Many times, problems can be fixed by installing the latest version.

If you are still having problems accessing the stream, please send an email to webmaster@ashevilleradio.com, and we'll try and will assist you with any troubleshooting issues you might have to ensure that you are able to fully enjoy this station online!  PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE RADIO STATION.
